Nutrition Counseling

We must first begin to understand why we eat the way we do before we can change our diets. This requires self-exploration and awareness of who we are and how we see ourselves. My job is to assist you on this journey and provide support and guidance through this oftentimes difficult journey.

We will also work to formulate a meal plan that is right for you. I will offer basic nutrition education around calorically dense foods vs nutritionally dense foods, and how to navigate the grocery store. We will start with small changes that can provide you with a sustainable foundation upon which bigger behavior change can occur.

 

Anxiety Management Techniques

Uncontrolled anxiety can lead to insomnia, disordered eating patterns, mood fluctuations, poor skin health, digestion problems, compromised relationships, headaches, etc.

When working with anxious clients, I take a holistic approach and emphasize a series of mindfulness techniques such as square breathing, body scans, and muscle relaxation. Routines and rituals that encourage healthy habit change are also features of this program. We will work together to establish goals and techniques that work for you.

Plant-based Medicine

If you are interested in pursuing plants in a medicinal way, I can offer guidance and instruction on how to benefit from the natural kingdom. If you are interested specifically in a vegan lifestyle, or how to raise a vegan household, I offer coaching on both of these approaches. I also offer psychedelic integration counseling, if you are in need of processing information that came from a psychedelic experience.
